Dr. Vladimir Zeetser has been the best podiatrist for our 9 y.o. athlete. When she started track season and had high volume running her feet hurt so much she could barely walk. Dr. Z diagnosed Sever's Disease, inflammation of the growth plate of her heels. Our daughter is hyperactive and an intense athlete. We decided on an aggressive treatment plan, knowing she uses her feet like 4 wheel drive jeeps... rough and demanding. She had two casts, a wheelchair, then walking boots. She destroyed all of them. Dr. Z. was very patient and kind with her, and clear with us, her parents, about pros and cons of each decision. He's a great pediatric podiatrist. We discussed minimal, moderate, and aggressive treatment. Our daughter is wiggly and (ahem) challenging to work with sometimes. The staff were great with her and made her feel welcome. My husband is a college and Olympic coach, so he has worked with podiatrists on sports injuries for 30 years. We - my daughter, my husband and I - couldn't be happier with our daughter's progression to complete health under Dr. Z's care. Next step: orthotics to prevent sports related heel bruises. All in all, we wouldn't trust our daughter's feet to anyone else.
